This dream isn't so much a series of images as a series of sounds; there's the cheers of a huge crowd echoing through the open stadium, and a ball thwacking back and forth across the court, and a mocking voice cutting across cutting through the air.
"Just because I returned all of your prized counters doesn't mean it's good to lie!"
"Insistent bastard, aren't you?"
"A sixth counter? If you can really do it, then show it to me!"
And finally, a different, louder, stronger voice resonates over it all.
"HOSHI HANABI!"
All of the other sounds fade, and the final words echo softly, tauntingly, as Niou opens his eyes.

Brought the car back to the village. Kind of dinged up in the front, but whatever, it still runs.
Still have no idea what the fuck is going on. There's a library in one part of the city, but most of the stuff I've read in there makes no fuckin' sense. But there's still like fifty billion books in there. Place needs a catalog or something. And how did I end up stuck reading about crap in the library?
...hey, tonight covers that card thing to get out of the city, right? That means we should go play in the desert tomorrow, Bun-chaaaan ♥
